Part 1 Begins Right Now!
Each of 15 Bloggers were challenged to find Items for another participating Blogger to Re-Purpose. I was tasked to find items for Ms. Bonnie Bell @Farmhouse40 Blog. She is in Nineveh, Indiana.
About Bonnie and Farmhouse 40
Bonnie (Bon Bon to her friends), started blogging to share her passion for DIY Projects and ways to create a beautiful home on a budget. Bonnie believes that making a home beautiful should be an option for everyone, no matter how big or small your house. Bon Bon shows you how that can be done, with DIY projects that are budget friendly and tons of inspiration and simple tips to create a home you love. You can see what Bon Bon created with the items I sent her at the link below.
The Search is on !
I searched high and low for something great to send to Bonnie. I was looking for something super cool. It’s harder than you might think to decide what might inspire someone else creative flow! I kept picking things up and saying to myself “I should get that for me, I can think of a couple of things to do with that” all the while Getting frustrated at trying to find something awesome to send to Bonnie. Then lightning struck! If I can think of at least 2 uses for this then I was certain Bonnie could as well!
What do you think of the items I sent to Bonnie?
This thing a ma jig;
No. I do not know what it is. I think it is some sort of colander? It is Heavy !
I thought it may be made of Copper, which would make it worth a fortune. It has the coolest patina! I hope Bonnie Loves it!
We were to spend $15.00
So I also bought this;
I am, again, unsure of exactly what this WAS…
Maybe a tea pot holder?
Lastly, I purchased this item.
I know this was once the face of a clock.
It is 2 feet across.
I had a couple ideas for this baby. One was an outdoor use and one indoor.
But I can’t tell you !
What Jenny sent me to work with
I received some very Interesting items as well! My items were sent to me from Jenny Kavanagh @PaintYourselfaSmile Blog.
Jenny Believes that, anyone can DIY if they want to take the time to work at it. All too often She’ll hear, “Jenny when you make something it looks great but when I do it, it looks like a Pinterest fail photo.” Jenny say’s it makes her giggle because the truth is all too often her first several attempts were crash and burns too. Jenny say’s Over the years she has had many failed projects but she is stubborn and doesn’t like to give up. Jenny truly believes that not everything is easy but if we are willing to take the time to learn then we can do just about anything and learn to do it well. I hope you will allow Jenny to inspire you with creative ideas of your own. Visit some of her projects below.
Jenny sent me this;
8 very nice Placemats. The fabric reminds me of my Christmas decorations with silvery threading going through them.
This really cool looking Bushell Basket! I love the Label!
This is an adorable little cafe Lamp! The shade sets atop of the bulb (not included!) LOL!
It has little Pineapple embelishments.
SO that is the first round! Getting to see the items for the challenge!
