Happy Independence day !
As we celebrate Independence Day, It is important, especially in these times of Chaotic Elections and Terrorists attacks, to remember what today stands for.
In America There is no day more significant than Independence Day. Also called “The 4th of July”. The day we celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. That Declaration proclaimed to the world our separation from Great Britain. Our emergence as a new sovereign nation. We state in the pledge of Alegience, “one Nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all.”
The Declaration stated unequivocally: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights and that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness and that to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed.”

No one takes these words more seriously than my husband. Every Independence Day, every holiday that involves flags, My husband is placing his beloved American Flags around our yard. On New Years Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Marine Corps Birthday, Veterans Day, V.E. Day (victory in Europe), V.J.Day (victory in Japan WWII). You see my husband is a Veteran and having served to defend this countries Freedom he has a great respect for other Veterans and our Flag. The symbol of that Freedom.
My Husbands Patriotism and Love of The American Flag
The white flags are Army Logo Flags.
The 18″ Flags go all the way around our corner lot. People will drive by and honk and wave!
