Welcome to my Holiday Home Tour “Elegance In White” ! I love Decorating and I love White ! Living in Texas we rarely experience a true White Christmas. Using Crystal, White, Silver and Blue accents and ornaments brings that feeling of a magical white Christmas wonderland into our home ! I Hope you enjoy the Decor and draw inspiration from it for your own home!
The Holiday Home Tour Starts Right Here!
I added as much white as I could find. Living in a small town my options are extremely limited. I even ordered some things online, as I usually have to , only to get an e-mail (much later) that the order was canceled due to insufficient stock!
The Unlit Tree
The Lighted Tree !
I really Love the Faux Fur Garlands. I bought those at Pier One!
If They look a little wonky…they are. My Shepherds tails are constantly knocking the ornaments off ! They don’t know the power of their own tails ! I re dress the tree daily!
It’s clear that I love to decorate with Snow Globes, LED Trees and Wonderland animals. I have a lot of Deer. Most of the Silver objects light up at night !
The silver ribbon around the mantel is LED.
Santa has 2 Reindeer but they are at the groomers this season. We’ll see them next year!
Christmas Decor is so easy. I had these little silver glass finials that I hung from 3 small feathered wreaths and hung them all from a length of ribbon on the wall!
These Sweet Deer are new and are scheduled for the Groomers right after Christmas. They need a small makeover. Their fur boas and antlers need polished to a lovely shiny silver !
I re purposed the Candle arrangement. It had some dull greenish flowers and i just replaced those with pretty white frosted Poinsettias.
It’s so much fun to make wreaths. I look for the most unusual items to add interest to them. Color is my main criteria for choosing items.
I would have loved to add more fluff and feathering to every nook and cranny but the truth is that I bought every white or silver floral I could find in town. There is never enough of what I want or need so I just have to try to add more each year.
My Faux Crystal Modern”Nativity”.
I like to tuck a little ornament or floral clip here and there to have a bit of Christmas Cheer all through the house.
The Dining Room
More Faux Fur! My favorite Christmas Scene is with St. Nicklaus walking through the Snow covered forrest surrounded by woodland creatures. You know the one!? The faux Fur and little animals I decorate with remind me of that scene. It also adds to the “Elegance” factor!
I needed a place to put the wine glass markers so they would be easily accessible to guests and the Antelopes rack was the perfect holder !
I love the Wine Bar. It lets guests come in and help themselves while I finish up the meal in the kitchen un encumbered by traffic looking for the wine glasses. All our friends are very comfortable helping themselves to a glass and that means they feel at home in our house. I like that.
I hope you and your loved ones are comfortable in your Home and Warm in your Hearts this Christmas Season and all through the coming year! It does’nt matter what your home looks like as much as what it FEELS like. And so this ends the Holiday Home Tour “Elegance In White”. On Behalf of Myself, JT, Sophie & Bella, we hope your New Year brings you much Joy, Love, Peace and Happiness. Thank You.
